Lane Brothers is a third-generation family owned and operated contracting firm providing professional painting and wallcovering services for Richmond and Central Virginia since 1946.

In 1946 two brothers, Carl R. Lane and Lewis H. Lane started Lane Brothers in Richmond, Virginia. In 1980, Carl Lane's son, William E. Lane acquired the company and continued to direct and support operations until recently when his son became President. Present officers are President T. Bryan Lane, Vice President William E. Lane, and Chair of the Board Elaine C. Lane, wife of William. Lester Oliver is our Field Superintendent directing the operations of our field work force of painting and wallcovering personnel.

The company's business is housed in its own 3-story building located in downtown Richmond with a combined 14,300 square feet of office and warehouse space. Presently we are staffed with an Estimating/Project Managing staff of three, which has a combined 85 years of experience in the painting industry and an office support staff of three. Our painting and wallcovering crew size varies with the workload; however, we consistently employ a crew of 30.

Lane Brothers offer first class quality, neat and organized professional work. Our employees take pride in all we do. We are licensed by the State Contractor's Board and hold valid City and County Business Licenses. We are bonded and fully insured and hold $5 million insurance liability.
